Welcome to AGOAWelcome to the Australian Geländewagen Owners Association (AGOA). Geländewagen, G-Wagen, G-Wagon, G Class or just plain “G” Whatever you want to call the vehicle, the Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen and derivatives are sought after and relatively rare vehicles in Australian terms. The aim of AGOA is to provide a central focus for owners of these vehicles and share knowledge, resources and information relative to the maintenance and enjoyment of these vehicles. AGOA is not a structured car club with a charter, regular meetings, membership fee and the like. It is a facility or means for owners of these vehicles to meet (either online or in person) with like-minded individuals who share a common interest in these now classic and purposeful vehicles. Most communication is done via the web and privacy of our members is closely guarded. Registration as an AGOA member is free and the only condition is that you own a G-Wagen and provide some details for our database. For more information see our Membership Page. Registered Members also receive an Emailed 20+ page newsletter, called “G’ocentric” on an ad-hoc basis. Other interested parties (non owners) are encouraged to utilise/participate in our AGOA Online forum. This is the everyday means by which members and potential members discuss everything from Parts Suppliers to Vehicle modifications. Please browse these pages for more information about AGOA. Contact InformationIf you are interested in being part of this new Association, download the registration form and return it to the address below. Please Note that there is no charge for registration and at this point it is not intended that we levy a fee for membership due to the informal nature of this organisation.
